When we found Kingdom Paws, I was surprised that whenever we went back, she actually pulled me to the door! Since then, she hasn't gone anywhere else.. I know she is happy there, like a second home, which gives me peace of mind (and Michelle being canine first-aid certified is a nice bonus). When we got our second dog Lola we found the same reaction.. excitedly barking and running to see Michelle every time! “Michelle Jensen of Kingdom Paws Dog Services doesn’t just provide a service for dogs…she provides a home away from home when their families are not able to be with them. Her love for my dog, and the care and support she gave him was the equivalent of what I provide in my home. Michelle is thorough in her review any specific care requirements before she takes on a client and is consistent in letting me know how he is doing throughout his stay.
Last summer, my 9-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever (Bruce) stayed with her for almost 3 weeks while I was away. Unfortunately, he developed an abscessed tooth while there. Michelle contacted me immediately, checked on what I wanted done, and ensured that Bruce was served by his own vet, even though it was an hour and 25 minutes away from her home. She ensured that I had all the information I needed, discussed every part of the consultation and service he received and administered the required medication throughout the rest of Bruce’s stay. The aftercare she gave Bruce was above and beyond what was required or expected.
Michelle, assisted at times by her partner Peter, are committed to providing the best care possible for the dogs in her charge. She has 2 of her own dogs, and welcomes visiting clients with all the love, kindness, and support that she gives her own dogs. Visiting dogs are welcomed into her family.
